I have a bachelors degree in English Literature from Miami University in 1987. I have almost completed my Masters Degree from Xavier University in Secondary Education, Language Arts. While attending Xavier, I carried a 3.8 GPA. I have also worked in the past as a substitute teacher for all grades K-12.

Experience

I have tutored several students in the past, and have worked as a substitute school teacher. I love helping a student discover something new and interesting. I have not found the right position as a full time teacher and would like to continue using my knowledge and expertise to help students when they need it.

Hobbies

I am an avid reader. If I have down time, I usually have my nose in a book, but I know that not all people like the same reading materials. I find that reading is one way to expand a person's vocabulary, and also give them a new way to look at their world. Being able to read and understand what is being read is fundamental for all walks of life.
